Privacy Policy

Overview

Wolog is a workout tracking app developed by Taras Darchuk. Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data Wolog collects, how it is used, and your rights.

The short version: Your workout data stays on your device by default. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't share your information with third parties.

Data Stored on Your Device

All workout data, exercise history, routines, body measurements, and progress photos are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to enable cloud sync by signing in.

Account & Cloud Sync

Signing in is completely optional. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we store:

• Your name (as provided by the sign-in provider)
• Your email address (for account identification)
• Authentication tokens (stored securely in your device's Keychain)

When signed in, your workout data, routines, body measurements, and exercise library are synced to our servers so you can access them across devices. Sync data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely.

Apple HealthKit

Wolog integrates with Apple HealthKit to:

• Read body weight and heart rate data to display in the app
• Write completed workouts and body weight entries to your Health data

HealthKit data is never sent to our servers, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose other than displaying it within the app. This data stays entirely on your device and within Apple's HealthKit framework.

Subscriptions

Wolog Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. Apple manages all billing, receipts, and refunds.

Analytics & Tracking

We use TelemetryDeck for anonymous usage statistics. TelemetryDeck does not store IP addresses, email addresses, or any personal information. A per-install anonymous identifier (derived from a hashed, non-reversible value) is used purely for counting unique installs in aggregate.

Wolog does not include any advertising frameworks or tracking pixels.

Our website (this landing page) uses Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics for basic traffic metrics. These do not track individual users or connect to your app usage.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated server data at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account within the app. Local data on your device can be removed by deleting the app.

Third-Party Services

Wolog uses the following third-party services:

• Apple Sign In — for optional authentication
• Google Sign In — for optional authentication
• Apple HealthKit — for health data integration (on-device only)
• Apple StoreKit — for subscription management
• TelemetryDeck — for anonymous, privacy-preserving usage statistics

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

Children's Privacy

Wolog is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
